New Single Release: "Vacant" - Broken Girls from Affluent Backgrounds

We attended a show at Rebel Lounge last week which featured three local bands, who each released new singles. Our favorite band/new song in the show was “Vacant” by Broken Girls from Affluent Backgrounds.

The song begins with heady lyrics backed by soft guitar, giving way to a passionately delivered chorus, which provides the song the drive it needs to move forward. It’s the journey that’s typical of the band’s music, volleying between soft and hard, delicate and heavy.
